As high school students, it’s imperative to your future career… and your parents to do well in school. But I wanted to figure out what else motivates students to do well in school and achieve a 4.0 gpa. When I asked a couple students what it is they said “My parents have had high expectations of me so it comes naturally.” another said “I’ve always done well in school but it has come at the expense of a lot of time spent studying.” Sounds like the work payed off if you have a perfect grade.
We’ve all been in a spot where we have just a small amount of assignments left to bump your grade up a letter. The stress of that must be doubled maybe even tripled if your perfect gpa is on the line. I wanted to figure out how some students at Andale managed to keep their 4.0 so I asked some students how they did it. One junior said this “Biology sophomore year, I failed the second to last test that dropped me down to a B and I studied really hard for the final.” Inspiring. Another gave this response “I had a B in weights because of missed days. I did my makeup work and my grade changed to an A the day school ended.”I also wanted to know if they thought they could finish their high school career while keeping their perfect grade, and they had this to say” Yes, as long as I stay committed.” and “I will try my best, but i’m expecting myself to keep a 4.0. There you have it, it’s not as hard as it seems to get a 4.0 you just have to put in 30 minutes of study time each night and you’ll most likely get the results the people I interviewed get.
