WSU Tech offers many opportunities for high school students at Garden Plain. Students can enroll easily by talking to school counselor, Kirsten Moritz. The classes at WSU Tech range from interior design to welding to healthcare. Tuition is free if you are a high school student. The only cost a student would incur is books for the class. Students can also visit the WSU Tech website for more information.
WSU Tech helps students when they graduate by getting college credit for free and they can even graduate with an associates degree right out of high school. Spencer Kelly, a GPHS senior, says, “I like going to WSU Tech because it is a good switch up from the regular classes.”
Kelly is currently in the Alternative Fuel Maintenance & Advanced Electronics program. He plans to graduate GPHS with an associates degree from WSU Tech and be looking for work immediately upon graduation.
