In week 6 of the 2023 high school football season, Coach Schmidt and his Andale Indians take on Coach Troy Black’s  Collegiate Spartans at home. Both teams come into this match up undefeated with records of 5-0. In week 4 both teams earned dominant wins, Collegiate with a 41-6 win over Chapman, and Andale a 85-7 win over Nickerson. While Collegiate struggled in the first half of their game, only putting up 6 points,  the Indians had a dominant first quarter with 51 points. Collegiate recently had a big injury with their star wide reciever Jaden Parker breaking his foot at their game vs Clearwater where they won 55-8

The big story of the game though is the appearance of Overtime. Overtime is a sports entertainment platform that mainly covers high school and college sports. Zach Weiner, and Dan Porter are the owners of the company but  reporters mostly post on and run the social media sites. The site currently has 70+ million followers across 7 platforms. They’re most popular on Instagram, X, Facebook, and tiktok with 38.2 million followers on those 4 sites. They will also be here at practice on Wednesday to learn what Andale football is all about.

Next week Collegiate will match up against Trinity academy (2-3) for a non- conference game at home and Andale goes to Cheney to face the cardinals(5-0) for a non-conference game.
