Luka’s Career High

Luka, one of the greatest European basketball players, has been off to a hot start his past couple games averaging 34.7 points each game. Some of the games that lead up to the 70 point game are him accomplishing a triple-double 3 out of his 4 games. During the game he made 8 out of 13 3 pointers, 15 out 16 free throws, and 24 out of his 33 shots. He is ranked 3rd for the most points in a game behind Kobe Bryant and Wilt Chamberlain. During the 73 point game he had a couple of achievements which were receiving his 7th 50 point game and his second 60 point game.

Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Dončić scored a franchise-record 73 points, tied for the fourth-most in NBA history and surpassed only by Wilt Chamberlain and Kobe Bryant. By: theguardian.com

The highest amount of points Dončić scored in a game before his 73 point takeoff was him scoring 60 points against the New York Knicks on Dec. 27, 2022. Most of Dončić points from the 73 point game were from lay ups and two pointers inside the three point line. The only person in the league right now that is close to Dončić career high is Joel Embid who scored 70 points. Luka’s next opponent is the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Milwaukee Bucks have a seven foot forward that earlier this season scored 64 points which is top three highest single game score’s this season. Lots of players have been taking advantage of the three point line to score most of their points while others like Wilt Stayed in the lane. Either way the things these players can do are almost impossible for others to even dream of.

About the Contributors
I am from St. Marks and this is my first time in Renwick Review. At school I compete in track and basketball. It's fun to compete in sports because you get to hang out with your friends and if you play track, you get to meet new people from different schools. Some of my favorite teams I like to watch are the Chiefs, Jayhawks, and the Shockers.
I am involved in Track and basketball. This is my first year in Renwick Review. I don't really have anybody that in inspires me but I have set goals for myself. My favorite sports team is Oklahoma State, I don't have a favorite professional team though I just follow select players.
