Learn More About Teacher & Coach Tyler Ryan

Learn+More+About+Teacher+%26+Coach+Tyler+Ryan

Meet Coach Ryan, a dedicated and passionate coach who has been inspiring athletes throughout his career. Coach Ryan is a football coach and head coach for track for Andale. Coach Ryan lives a simple life waking up on his farm and coming to school everyday to teach weights and P.E. On his free time, he likes working around the house and working on his “mini farm”.

Coach Ryan was inspired to become a teacher by his high school coaches. He looked up to them in his time in high school and enjoyed the moments they would share. He thought there would be nothing better than becoming a high school coach. He’s influenced and impacted so many athletes and kids lives that people may look up to him the same way he looked up to his coaches. Tyler Ryan has been a coach and teacher all his life and has never had another full time job. A few men coach Ryan loves sharing his life advice and words of wisdom too would be Jak Krehbiel and Isaiah Wilson. On some Saturdays, these guys will come out and help him build fences in the morning on his farm.

Coach Ryan attended the University of Kansas State. He majored in secondary education and business.  When asking Tyler what he would change about Andale he goes “nothing”, “I never think about what we would change to do better, I think about what we need to do to keep having success, the school and coaches area is all good. Wouldn’t want to change anything at all”.  Coach Ryan has dedicated lots of blood sweat and tears for this organization and school, and is one of the greatest coaches to ever coach.

When asked how he likes Andale so far he states “Andale is as good as it gets, as in terms of many other places I’ve coached and taught. Andale is by far the best”.  It’s clear how much Andale and the community means to Coach Ryan and his impact on it. “Any class that has a good attitude and work ethic is my favorite class of the day, my favorite type of kids to be around” when asked which class period is his favorite. Coach Ryan graduated from college in 2005 and has been bouncing around between schools in the Wichita area. Safe to say Andale is by far his favorite and place that he calls home and we’re glad to have him!

Sam Harp
I am involved in sports including football, basketball, and track. The thing I appreciate most from Renwick is the support for sports. This is my first year in Renwick Review. Some people that inspire me to achieve success are my friends because they support everything I do. My favorite sports team is the Kansas State Wildcats.
