Gina Clark, Advisor

I was drawn to the Renwick Review staff and opportunity to serve as an adviser because it's not just another student publication; it's a platform that understands the significance of student generated content and uses that content to showcase and market the strengths of our Renwick school district. I applaud Ms. Bergkamp and her students who took their original platform, "The Tribe", and have transformed it into this new website chalked full of student work, creations, and ideas.

The stories our students tell, the articles they produce, and the ideas they explore matter. This isn't about simply filling web pages; it's about making a real impact. Our students take pride in bringing forward stories that resonate with our audience, stories that reflect the heartbeat of our school district, and stories that drive conversations, celebrate our accomplishments, and hopefully at some point inspire change.

Our district is a place filled with vibrant stories waiting to be shared. By being a part of the Renwick Review, I've had the privilege of watching our students become storytellers, promoters, and cheerleaders for our district. Through our publication, we are not just sharing stories; we are marketing our district to the world. We are showcasing the unique essence of our community, highlighting its qualities, and celebrating the achievements of our students. Every article, every photograph, and every interview is a testament to the incredible talent and potential that resides within our district's boundaries. It's an amazing thing to watch our students do work that is showcased each and every day on our site.

What truly excites me about the Renwick Review is the opportunity it offers to students to write stories of genuine interest. Our team of talented young writers, journalists, and designers is not confined to producing what they are told. Instead, they have the freedom to explore topics that matter to them, showing their unique perspectives and creativity to create content that is both compelling and authentic.

In a world where the voices of our youth are sometimes overlooked, the Renwick Review ensures that these voices are not just heard but celebrated. It's a space where students are empowered to tell their stories, share their insights, and make a difference in our district.

Thank you for checking out Renwick Review as we embark on a journey of discovery, storytelling, and community building. I'm honored to be a part of this incredible team, and I can't wait to see the positive impact we continue to make together. Thank you for being a part of our story, and we look forward to sharing many more stories of interest with you in the future.
