The first game for the Andale Indians was a success! From the very start of the game you knew it was going to be a good game against the Valley Center Hornets. The walk outs and the atmosphere really made it an exciting game for everyone involved. In the first half of the Andale Indians game against Valley Center the chances of winning did not seem very high, but after a lot of consistent effort and tenacity they managed to claw their way back in the second half. At the end of the third quarter Paxton Spexarth hit a game changing three pointer at the buzzer that electrified the crowd and the team. From that point on the Andale Indians were rolling and came back to win the game. The final score was 57 to 52. The Indians led the game in rebounds and assists and truly worked for this win!

The second game for the Andale men’s basketball team was an even bigger success! This match up was the Indians first home game with a packed gym to represent both teams. The Andale men’s team is always an anticipated rival throughout the year. From the beginning of the game the Andale Indians were in control. The lead was contained by the Andale Indians most of the game and at half time were up by 15 points. In the third quarter Collegiate started to claw their way back into the game, but Andale’s men’s team wasn’t going to let it affect them. Austin Baalmann and Michael Braaten both hit huge 3’s too extend the lead. This match up was gritty and will be another anticipated match up for later in the season!

Carter Bishop, Andale HS - Renwick Review
Hi, my name is Carter Bishop. This is my first year with Renwick Review and with Andale high school.  I plan on playing basketball and running track for our school, and I enjoy all of the great coaching staff we have here. One person who inspires me is Kobe Bryant because of how hard he worked to achieve everything he has done.
