Andale put another win under their belts winning on the girls and boys sides. People could say this was the toughest meet they will attend this year with all the 5a and 6a schools in attendance. 13 schools attended and Andale was the smallest one.

The men didn’t have very many first place finishes this meet in the running events, Ian Schrandt took 2nd in the 400 meter with a time of 50.33 seconds. Schrandt is closing in on the record held by Gage Prosser where Gage ran a time of  49.86 seconds. Nich Winter took 10th in the boys 800 meter dash with a time of 2 minutes and 5 seconds.  Harrison and Bo took 3rd and 5th with times of 14.99 seconds and 15.23 seconds in the 110 hurdles. The mens 4×1 took 7th with a time of 43.78 seconds.  The 4×4 ran a new PR with a time of 3:29 and placed 5th overall. The mens field events had a good day with Braydon Richeson clearing 6 foot 5 and taking 1st overall. Bo Kaiser finished 3rd  with a jump of 6 feet even. Ethan Eck took 2nd in the triple jump with a jump of 40 foot 1 inch. In the pole vault, we go 1 and 2 with Rylan clearing 15 feet and Colt clearing 14 feet. We also go 1 and 2 in the mens discus with Cooper throwing 151 feet and 11 inches and Hunter throwing 144 feet and 11 inches. Hunter also takes 1st overall in Javelin with a throw of 157 feet and 11 inches almost getting a new PR. In conclusion, the mens field events played a big role in how they won the meet.

On the girls side, Rylee Meyer t in the 100 meter with a time of 12.71 seconds. She also places 6th in the 200 meter with a time of 27.09 seconds and 3rd in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 46.58. Ava and Mayla go 2 and 3 in the 400 meter with times of 1 minute and 1 second and 1 minute and 4 seconds. Kate Eck places 4th in the 800 meter with a time of 2 minutes and 29 seconds. Arwyn also takes 4th in the mile with a time of 5 minutes and 41 seconds as well as 2nd in the 3200 meter run with a time of 12 minutes and 51 seconds. Their 4×1 takes number 1 with a time of  50.47 seconds.For the field events, Taya Orth takes 1st in the long Jump with a jump of 16 feet and 5 inches as well as taking 1st in Javelin with a throw of 131 feet and 10 inches. Jojo Cutler takes 1st in pole vault as well with a vault of 10 feet 6 inches.

Andale dominates another meet winning the girls and boys side, girls scoring 141 points and the guys scoring 124. Andale has another big meet this week at the Goddard High School Invitational on May 3rd. They start getting into state play next week where they travel to Wellington for League.
