This past week at Andale High was very eventful! During the school week the students had a theme each day of the week to dress up as. Monday, we started the week off with socks, crocs, and Birkenstocks! Jv and Freshman played their matches at AHS against Kaupan Mt. Carmel. Jv took home a win with a 30-0 win!

Tuesday’s theme was a fun one! The students and teachers dressed up as tacky tourists! The other thing that happened Tuesday was the varsity and jv volleyball played at Rose Hill and Wellington at Rose Hill.

Not much happened Wednesday. The theme was Western.

Thursday was a busy day. The theme was Super Heroes vs Villains and there were definitely some interesting costumes! After school each of the grades and clubs rode on their floats that they made and tossed candy to kids down main street. Right after, everyone walked over to the football field to watch Powder puff. After an intense and competitive game, seniors came out with the win. Meanwhile, the C team played at Buhler and Winfield and got all 6 wins!

Friday, the theme was music genre. The Freshman were pop, Sophomores were country, Juniors were heavy metal rock, Seniors were rap. And for lunch the Booster Club kindly treated everyone to Chick Fil A sandwiches and hot dogs.  At the end of the school day all the students and teachers gathered out to the football field for the pep rally. The cheerleaders performed a great performance to start the pep rally off! The Homecoming Candidates did a one legged race and then had to quiz each other on how well they know each other. Towards the end the candidates invited students from the stands to play some fun games! And finally the part everyone has been waiting for… the pieing of the teachers!

Lots of Andale high school students were gathered at the football field before the game, the long awaited homecoming ceremony was about to take place. All 10 candidates lined up in a fashionable order, last year’s homecoming king and queen Faith Molitor and Wade Strunk stood behind Grace Roland and Trevon Rodgers and crowned them king and queen!

Finally! Game time is here! The theme for the student section was USA and the whole student section was all red white and blue! Everyone was excited. Andale crushed Nickerson 85-7!

After the game the booster club held a tailgate and a ton of students showed up! There were Hamburgers, snow cones, and people started spike ball games. It was a great time to hangout with friends or even meet new people!

Hi, my name is Noah, outside of school my favorite hobby is riding dirt bikes. One thing I appreciate about Renwick is the community, it's a great one and there's no others like it. This is my first year of Renwick Review. One person who inspires me is Haiden Deegan, he went from a rookie making mistakes, to being at the top of the board in supercross!
