Crossing the Finish Line

Check out Andale High School’s Cross Country performances at the KSHSAA Class 4A State Tournament
Crossing+the+Finish+Line

Four runners from Andale made it to the Class 4A KSHSAA State Cross Country Meet located in Wamego, KS. Two girls, and two boys. Those runners were Jack Cutler (SO), Sam Pavelski (FR), Arwyn Hennessy (JR), and Kate Eck (SO). These runners qualified from the Class 4A Regional Meet in Buhler with great performances. The runners ran great at state with Cutler finishing 34th running 17:36, Pavelski running a new pr, 17:58, finishing 47th. On the girls side, Hennessy finished 42nd running a PR time of 21:45, and Eck finished 93rd running 24:52.

While the 2023 Cross Country season has now come to an end, you’ll get another chance to see all of these runners again during the upcoming track season. The AHS Cross Country team competed in eight meets this year, and set many new PR’s throughout the season.

A special thanks to Coach Steve Rangel for his time he’s invested into the AHS Cross Country program.

I am going into my Freshman year and this is my first year working with Renwick Review. I am involved with school activities like basketball and plan on doing track. I appreciate the opportunity we have here with all the clubs and extracurricular we have here. The person who inspires me is Jesus Christ because he is always with me and he shapes my life for the better.
