Wasabi: A Flavorful Journey Through Japanese Cuisine!

Wasabi%3A+A+Flavorful+Journey+Through+Japanese+Cuisine%21

Wasabi is a light-filled, modern chain restaurant serving up bento boxes, sushi and hot Japanese dishes. They are located at 2404 N. Maize Rd., Wichita, KS 67205. They are open Monday-Friday from 11:00 A.M. – 10:00 P.M. and on Sundays they are open from 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.  Mayla and I went there this week to try it out and give you our honest opinion.

Right as you walk in you get to seat yourself instead of waiting for someone else to seat you. As we sat down a waiter was already there to take our drink order. He came back with our drinks approximately two minutes later. We looked over the menu and ordered two appetizers: Gyoza and Soft Shell Crab. The cost of the Gyoza was $5.25 and the Soft Shell Crab cost $7.95 and they came with spicy mayonnaise and eel sauce. They got to us around six to seven minutes after we ordered them.

Finally we were ready to order our main meal. We both ordered the eight piece California rolls which cost $3.95 for each of us. At the table there is soy sauce for you to dip your rolls in or you can ask for a certain sauce. They were brought to our table approximately ten minutes after we ordered. Our bill came out to around $12 a person, which is very budget friendly.

Overall, we give our experience a 10/10 and encourage you to go and enjoy Wasabi. The waiter was super patient with us and fast with our orders. They have a wide variety of different items on the menu to choose from. The prices are very reasonable and on the cheaper side for a restaurant like this. If you’re worried about what to order we highly recommend the California rolls, which are picky eater friendly, and made of  rice, crab, avocado and cucumbers. If you ever are in town and want to try something new head to Wasabi!
